"So encourage each other and build each other up, just as you are already doing."

Parking Permits

Parking Permits are required for students, faculty, and staff while parking on campus. Vehicle information must be registered with Student Life to obtain a parking permit. The permit should be placed clearly visible on the back windshield on the driver’s side or on the back bumper, driver’s side. A new parking permit must be acquired each school year.  Cars that do not display a Parking Permit will be fined. Fines start at $20 each.

If a vehicle is changed, Student Life must be informed of the new vehicle and information. Failure to do so will result in a ticket.

Permit stickers are color coded.  Cars parked in the front lot with on-campus permits will be ticketed.  The front lot is for commuter students and university employees and visitors only.  Off campus students are issued an purple permit sticker. On campus students (those living in the dorms) receive an aqua blue permit sticker. Staff receives black permit stickers. Only purple and black permits are allowed to use the parking lot located in front of the campus.

If commuter status changes or a student moves on campus, they must see Student Life for a new parking permit.

Avoid parking in areas that are not marked for parking (such as on the grass or in an open field.) Only park in clearly marked parking spaces. If the front lot becomes full, please use the rear parking lot.

If you have specific questions regarding the parking requirements at WJU, you may refer to the student handbook or contact the Office of Campus Safety at 916-577-2321.

We appreciate your co-operation as we strive to maintain order and better serve you and the campus community.
