WJU's Music Department’s First Benefit Dinner and Concert
William Jessup University’s music department will host their first benefit dinner and concert on Thursday, March 26 beginning at 6:30 PM.
The benefit dinner, referred to as “A Night in the Piazza” will offer Italian cuisine and be served prior to the start of the concert.
"The music department requires a variety of resources to promote and expand our music program," said Tom Ruscica, William Jessup University’s Music Department Chair. "Hosting an event of this magnitude is a direct reflection of the vision that we have for our program."
The benefit concert will feature classical music performances by faculty, alumni and students at the university.
Typically, the music department performs outreach concerts at schools, churches and various other entities to help recruit new music students and promote WJU’s music program. The program offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in music with concentrations in worship, performance, music education and music business. Future concentrations are planned in commercial music and composition.
All proceeds go to benefit the music department at WJU. To buy tickets online and for more information, visit A Night in the Piazza or call Emily Darlington at 916-577-2256 or edarlington [at] jessup [dot] edu.
