Athletics

Led by Freshman Jacque Cassell, the women's soccer team put on a clinic against Mills Wednesday at their home field.  After a goal less than a minute into the game by Allison Hahn, the Warriors were shut out for the next 45 minutes, only to explode in the second half to reach double digit scores.  Cassell had four goals and an assist to lead all scorers, and senior Kelsey Gleason added two.

The WJU Men's Soccer team defending their home pitch Wednesday,
knocking off PUC 3-2.  Patrick and Alex Barclay scored consecutive
goals in a one minute period to spark the Warrior offense, and Matt
Lantz continued his excellent play in goal, including an important save
near the end of the second half.  Tyler McLean added an insurance goal
early in the second to complete the scoring.

The Lady Warriors defeated Bethany University 8-0 in conference play.
